Film Distributors Association launches a new awards content website about all major film awards: filmoftheyear.co.uk

filmoftheyear.co.uk is the home of the Richard Attenborough Film Awards, its where film fans and the regional critics will vote in various categories for the best films of the year. In addition to the RAFA's filmoftheyear.co.uk also houses information about all the other prestigious film awards from around the globe, including the BAFTA's, the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

On the 29th January 2009, the Richard Attenborough Film Awards winners were announced. Winners included Slumdog Millionaire and The Dark Knight.
